ADB's Work in Palau
ADB’s support to Palau focuses on improving public sector efficiency and ensuring long-term fiscal sustainability, reducing energy costs by increasing the supply of renewable energy, managing risks through enhanced disaster risk financing and public financial management, and strengthening the management of water supply and sanitation services.
To date, ADB has committed 27 public sector loans, grants, and technical assistance totaling $220 million to Palau.

Forecasts are based on ADB's flagship publication, the Asian Development Outlook. Updated four times a year, it analyzes economic and development issues in developing countries in Asia and the Pacific.
Development indicators for Palau, including a selection of economic, environmental, and social indicators used globally to track progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals.
Results achieved are aggregate amounts of outputs and outcomes from operations reported in project completion reports and extended annual review reports circulated for the year.
Cofinancing operations enable ADB’s financing partners, governments or their agencies, multilateral financing institutions, and commercial organizations to participate in financing ADB projects.

The ADB Pacific Department provides the primary operational link for activities between ADB and the government, the private sector, civil society stakeholders, and development partners. The Pacific Department engages in policy dialogue, country partnership strategy development and programming, and portfolio management, while also acting as a knowledge base on development issues in Palau.
